I made an art tumblr finally, as my main tumblr is cluttered and after nearly 300 followers I should probably shift over so they get what they followed me for lol
So yeah, I'm super active there and will post all sorts of stuff from final drawings to school work/illustrations :] Please follow!

was awesome enough to give me a short term membership to essentially help me change my name lolI needed something universal again, as before I was artpurplecat everywhere, but as I grew older it annoyed me cause it was so damn stupid so I've been through a couple inbetween like jenpen or kakrov
kakrov was my attempt to be russian, that failed miserably
so here I am, now I'm called cyanatar. A blend of cyan and a dinosaur? I prefer that B)
I will also be making an art blog of the same name, and generally keeping everything nice and tidy now! Feels good man

Clean slate

Finally got myself free time all over summer, so now I can update people on whats going on!!
This username thing sounds really interesting, I think I may just do it to change to the name I was gonna move to in the first place. Nice and simple lol. I'm also gonna go about being active here finally and keep on track with my updates. Now I have the time anyway.
Commissions are also happening, trying to save up for a cintiq before I move to university in the Autumn. More info on that eventually! I really need to get back into digital art and commissions usually make me do that
I'll try to update more, as I'm on my tumblr and FA frequently these days. Here's hoping! As for now it's gonna be so busy until next sunday due to MCM expo in london on saturday and props to make! eeee. Can't wait!

Well now, how is everyone? I've got quite a lot to update on haha, but for now I'll keep it short and sweet.
1) Since september I've been enrolled in the University for the Creative arts in my hometown. I'm doing a foundation diploma which will secure me a place at an art uni of my choice. So far it's been really great! We had an art trip to amsterdam last week and it deffinitely will be a highlight of my year here. I'm focusing on illustration right now in my classes and I'm being lazy right now but I'll work tomorrow I swear lol.
I'm hoping to go to either Camberwell (London uni for illustration) or Kingston to do illustration next year and it's so exciting to think about >u< My life is moving fast!
2) I'm very serious in my goal to TRY and get an international 2 month internship with Disney next year in California. This is something I'm working on very slowly as applications aren't due till March but this really is an oppertunity I want to achieve and excell in.
3) I'm also planning on cosplaying as Strength from Black Rock shooter. Because I did product design and understand crafting on a large scale I think I can do this but I need to get in shape physically and produce those goddamn arms lmao. So much to do so little time. I have a year tho so thats ok.
I also have plans to make a very personal illustrated book, a semi proper art blog and a job. Fuck 2012 will be the end of me I swear
Final thing, relating to my DA.
You know as well as I do I am a lazy fuck with this. It's probably because I haven't really had the motivation to post on art sites since my main home (sheezyart) imploded into what seems is a 404 for shittiness. Actually no it's just because I felt I had nothing to give ANYWHERE. Which is why I love my tumblr. I feel free there.
However I do miss art communities and being involved. Realistically I can't get properly involved yet because I'm so fucking busy. However once school is over in the winter, I plan on doing something about it. A more universal plan. Connecting a more professional name to art sites so I'm not Kakrov, desosidos, artpurplecat, jenpen etc.
One last account change, this time to Cyanatar. I love the word Cyan so yeah >_>. This change will happen at the start of 2012 as a start to my new motivation for maintaining an internet presence!
